Wantamnam is a band composed of vocalist/guitarist Fengyi, bassist Kuma Yip, drummer Gill Mok, sound designer Bu Chan and art director Enrica Fung, brings together the soulful essence of Hong Kong's urban landscape. As a collective of young creatives deeply rooted in the city's cultural fabric, they draw inspiration from a diverse range of genres, including Soul, Blues, Motown, Psychedelic Rock, Reggae, Jazz, Trip Hop, and Post-rock.

Their debut single "In the Dark" was released in October 2023, sent shockwaves through the independent music scene, garnering widespread support and critical acclaim. In the past few months, they have been featured on numerous charts and year-end lists and have quickly become one of the top 10 music units on Hong Kong's Spotify "2024 RADAR New Force".

Their debut EP "Mukma" was released in March 2024, featuring intricate arrangements that are both calm and wild at times, with poetic lyrics and instrumental melodies that are expertly woven together. The band has also embarked on a tour across Hong Kong, Taipei, Taichung, and Tainan for their "Mukma" tour, with each show selling out almost instantly. Their live performances have also received widespread acclaim for their infectious energy and atmosphere among fans of music in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

In September 2024, the band released their second EP, Want Am Nam, and completed four headlining concerts in Hong Kong, two appearances at Taiwanese music festivals, and a Taipei show.
